Have you ever in your life needed books so much and found them there for you ? So much of their presence that you thank God there were writers and book and stories in the world?
Here, my friends , in this blog, we will discuss the main books that either changed your life, your perspective of some things, or were really there when you needed a friend or just a way out of this petty world and petty lies.
What's your top... Say, 5 , series, books , whatever.
There are some books that completely get you out of this world. Some books can't , though, like contemporary or anything of the sort. Some books make you feel like you're reading your feelings in silence, and reading about them makes you relate to the book, like you're discussing it , spitting everything that's bothering you to a friend. And that friend totally gets it, because he has those feelings too.
Some romance books though, remind you of your own romance...or even if you have feelings for someone that are not really reciprocated, the romance inside the book and what characters feel like whenever they spend time with each other, makes you feel like you're into that romance yourself, and it's just so sweet that you want to read about those two forever.
Have i gone off track or do some of you relate to what i'm saying ?
Thrillers now. Oh those creepy twisted thrilling stories that fill you with plot twists and introduce you to the most complexe of humans' personalities: murderers , and how they operate, and how can thee beings be so smart and so perfect at the same time. I'm not talking about those lame thrillers , but those which are the best of the bef, i don't read English thrillers that much, my favourites are the french ones. French writers have a thing for thrillers, and it's utterly amazing books they come up with.
For those who read French books, i'll leave some recommendations in the end of this article. ( otherwise you can read the translation really )
What's left? Horror. I can't talk about horror in books because i didn't read scary books, most of them were just creepy not scary.. Writing something scary in words is really really hard , but i think it's one of the best stories ever.
You're just reading. Under a lamp light in the dark at night. And the book is amazingly scary. And you're creeped out because whenever a book is good and you're emerged in it, words become sort of...alive. Your voice becomes the story and it's like you're hearing the characters voice and the whole book is full of life. For a horror book now, it becomes 70% more interesting.
So i guess Horror books separates us from our world too.
Those are Young Adult sort of books ( what i read at least ) and for those of you who don't read YA, please tell me about those kinds of books that trigger those feelings for you.
I guess i got distracted by this and forgot the top 5...
Well whatever , i hope this article is as relatable to most of you as possible.
