This tag consists of resembling all the book ingredients for a cake, based on your opinions for every book you read so far!
Before we start, i'm not gonna tag anyone, but if any of you wants to do this tag, you're welcome to do it!
Also , this tag was originally created by the booktuber Suddenlylorna , click on her name to view her booktube channel, if you wish to check her out! I do not know the date of the video though...
Anyway, enough with the talk and let's start the booktag! (^-^)/
1st Ingredient is: Eggs!
This book is the kind of book that you thought it was going to be bad but turned out to be quite enjoyable!
My book would be... The Giver by Lois Lowry.
When i saw this book in the bookstore and i read the spoiler in the back of the book and looked at the cover for a looong time, i hesitated, because as you can see it looks pretty boring , i thought it would be one of the books that talk all philosophical and nothing fun... But then i LOVED IT! It was so deep and so meaningful , the end was open but it taught me a lot of stuff about life i didn't bother to notice before.
2nd Ingredient: Flour!
This book is the kind of book that was so slow in the beginning but once you read more of it you couldn't stop reading!
My book would be... Germinal by Émile Zola.
I HARDLY got through the first 100 pages... If it wasn't for my mum who had read it before me, and encouraged me to keep reading , i would have cut it straight away. But then when i read on, i LOVED IT! It had some lesson inside... Something... Like... I've never been good with words but it felt like a life lesson to learn.. It was one of those tragic stories that had a meaning and purpose to them, if you know what i mean... I read it when i was quite little.. 13 or something ? So i don't quite remember..
3rd Ingredient: Sugar!
Thi book a sweet book, the sweetest you've read all year.
I'd definitely choose Eleanor & Park by Rainbow Rowell. ( *whispers* my favourite authorrrr )
Eleanor & Park is the kind of book that rises all feels at the same time in your poor little heart deprived of romance. It makes you dream and it makes you feel in love from both sides : Park's and Eleanor's. There are so many sweet paragraphs and the whole book is just beautiful and you just don't want to put it down.
Personally i was sad when i finished it.
Now that the cake is ready we're going to put the frosting! ( my favourite part when baking.. \( Q_ Q )/ )
This book is the kind of book that covers everything on the cake, it has romance, action, adventure, deep stuff, and everything else!
I think this question is the hardest to answer... I would pick Red Queen by Victoria Aveyard.
As you must have noticed ( or not ) that i love books who have a bit of a sad story in them. I know that Red Queen is the first in the series and that i haven't finished the whole trilogy yet but this book had everything in store, Mare's sarcasm, the funny scenes ( though they're rare ) , the romance, the awesome sort-of victorian dresses, the plot and the plot TWIST ( my whole life....a lie... ) and the slightly tragic storyline , that reminds me of the Hunger Games.. But better ( sorry , but honestly.. It was ) and i enjoyed reading the book a lot.
Next is the Sprinkles!
This book is actually... A book series that you can always turn to whenever you're feeling down.
Honestly, i think it's going to be Harry Potter.
Because the whole world is so magical and it makes me forget myself in it and it certainly helped me when i was going throigh finals this year. I'd tell my friends i'll be off to Hogwarts and read a chapter or too then when i finished reading for the night i would be depressed because i'd remembered my world wasn't as exciting as the magical world of Harry Potter..
( PS: i'm reading it for the first time, after all these years. Sew me. )
FINALLY THE FINAL TOUCH: the cherry on top!
This book is going to be your favourite book... This year.
( because i know the 'whats your favourite book?' question is forbidden. )
My book would definitely with no question be Carry On by Rainbow Rowell ( i told you she's my fav author! )
Don't ask me why. Carry on is Carry On and nothing would change that. If i start talking about it i will never shut up.
Carry On is love. Carry on is life.
( please don't mind me, i'm a poor peasant fangirl )
So that's it! I hope you guys enjoyed this booktag and i hope it turns out as fun to you as it was to me!
Like i said, i'm not going to tag anyone but whoever reads this is already tagged!
