Are you out of flour, yet, you crave some chewy soft cookies so badly?
Do you hate hard recipes? Then this one's just for you!
Chewy from the inside, crunchy from the outside, just like meringues, and most of all: FLOURLESS!!! cookies, and here is the recipe!
Ingredients:
* 180g powdered Sugar
* 63g cocoa powder
* a pinch of salt
* 2 egg whites
( you can use the egg yolk for another of my recipes, it's kind of a waste to throw it away)
* 1 teaspoon vanilla extract ( or 1 sachet of vanilla sugar )
* 90g chocolate chips ( not essential, it's okay if you don't have them!)
How to:
1. In a large bowl, mix the dry ingredients: sugar, cocoa powder, sugar vanilla ( or vanilla extract )
2. Whisk the egg whites into white foam like whipped cream. (you'll need an electric whisk for that, otherwise it'll take forever). Add the pinch of salt so that the foam is faster to form.
3. Add the whisked white eggs to the mixture of dry ingredients.
Make sure you mix gently with a spoon so that the foam doesn't lose the air inside, and the dough's texture will be ruined!
4. Add the chocolate chips
5. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and scoop some dough and spread dem cookies! Make sure to separate them because they'll grow bigger so they'll stick together if they're close ( it'll be a pain to separate them with a knife later on)
6. Bake for 10 to 15 min depending on your oven.
Make sure to watch them every 5 minutes, as they can be overcooked easily!
Touch them, feel them, smell them, bake them until the surface starts to harden and sometimes crack like an earthquake.
Just watch them carefully!
7. Let them cool down completely before serving them. It's essential because they're fragile and they might break if too hot.
